That last part matters: a boiler running cooler runs more efficiently, so a well set up floor circuit costs less to run than the radiators it replaced.
We fit wet underfloor heating, the kind that runs off your boiler rather than off the electrics, along with the manifold, the zone valves and the controls that go with it. It is at its most straightforward in an extension, a new kitchen or anywhere the floor is coming up anyway. We work across Bolton, Horwich, Westhoughton and the surrounding towns.

Questions about underfloor heating
Can underfloor heating replace my radiators?
In the rooms it covers, yes. Most homes end up with a mix: underfloor in a kitchen or extension where the floor was coming up anyway, radiators in the rooms upstairs. The two run on separate zones off the same boiler.
Does it work with any floor covering?
Tile and stone are the best conductors, so they respond fastest. Engineered wood and vinyl are fine within the manufacturer’s temperature limit. Thick carpet and heavy underlay insulate the floor and work against it, so we would talk you out of that combination.
Is it cheaper to run than radiators?
Usually, because it works at a lower flow temperature and a boiler running cooler is a boiler running more efficiently. The saving depends on how well insulated the room is, so we would rather look at yours than promise a figure.
